GOG.com expands to Mac, launches with The Witcher 2

As expected, the Enhanced edition of The Witcher 2 has made its way onto the Mac. Not only is it available on Steam, it is also available DRM-free on GOG.com--just in time for the platform's expansion into Mac gaming.

Fifty titles are launching on GOG.com's Mac store today, with 28 of them being playable on OS X for the first time ever. The library includes titles like SimCity 2000, Botanicula, Postal Classic and Uncut--and many will be available for 50% off during its launch sale.

"Remember, the 50 is just the beginning--we promise to release more amazing games on Mac in the near future," the announcement says. Like on Steam, games that are available across multiple platforms will be accessible with a single purchase.
