Minecraft PC to get a Far Cry 3 pack

Remember that old Reese's commercial where two people collide and get their peanut butter and chocolate mixed up? Well, Ubisoft and Mojang have run into each other and put a bit of Far Cry into Minecraft with a new map and texture pack coming later this month.

Remember that old Reese's commercial where two people collide and get their peanut butter and chocolate mixed up? Well, Ubisoft and Mojang have run into each other and put a bit of Far Cry 3 into Minecraft with a new map and texture pack coming later this month.

The map, created by well-known Minecrafter Michael Lambert (aka Sacr3), will have familiar locations from Far Cry 3, and more than 50 Easter eggs hidden throughout the islands. Artists Axel Janssen and Yohann Delcourt handled the re-texturing of such characters as Vaas, Citra and Jason.

The pack will be available for free on the official Far Cry 3 site on October 26. The real Far Cry 3, sans cubist interpretation, is coming to PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC on December 4.

Everything has minecraft in it its really getting annoying, sellout level of annoying. i bet half the game designers putting this crap in thought they were the only one getting to use the whore that is now known as minecraft in their game. i guess that minecraft using something else is a change of pace though.
