007 Legends is hitting stores today, and it's clear that the PS3 version of the game is the one to get. Given Sony's ownership of the 007 IP, it's managed to wrangle early access to the Skyfall DLC mission, and some exclusive multiplayer characters.

As previously reported, 007 Legends blends the stories of several Bond films: On Her Majesty’s Secret Service, Moonraker, License to Kill, Goldfinger, Die Another Day, and Skyfall. The current Bond actor, Daniel Craig, will play the character throughout all the film recreations.

Perhaps in an effort to prevent spoilers, the mission based on Skyfall is not included on the disc. Instead, it must be downloaded. According to One of Swords, the DLC will be available on November 9th on PlayStation Network, the same day as the film. Xbox 360 gamers will have to wait until November 20th. Finally, the PC version of 007 Legends is due on November 2, and the Wii U version is due in December.

The PS3 version also touts two additional characters for use in multiplayer: the MI6 field agent Eve, as played by Naomie Harris in the film, and the assassin Patrice, played by Ola Rapace. You can check them out on the PlayStation.Blog.
