Diablo 3 patch 1.0.5 adds Infernal Machine, monster power update
by John Keefer, Oct 16, 2012 10:35am PDTIt's patch day today for Diablo 3. 1.0.5 adds the Infernal Machine event, doubles the drop rate of Legendary items, and gives players the chance to modify monster power for better experience and loot chance at all difficulty levels.
The official patch notes aren't available yet, but the PTR notes were updated late last week. Blizzard also went into detail on the Infernal Machine and monster power changes.
There were plenty of other tweaks and bug fixes, so make sure you give the final patch notes a scan so you don't end up dying when you weren't prepared for the changes.
