Resident Evil 6 bug affects downloaded PS3 copies of the game
by Steve Watts, Oct 03, 2012 4:30pm PDTIf you downloaded Resident Evil 6 off the PlayStation Store during its Day 1 Digital promotion, you may need to start all over again. For some, an error code (80029513) launched upon start-up, rendering the game unplayable. Others reported issues playing with disc owners and accessing RE.net.
The bug was first raised on the PlayStation Europe forums (via IGN). According to Capcom-Unity, the game has now been fixed--but you must redownload the 10GB file from the PlayStation Store yet again.
Considering this is but the start of Sony's Day 1 Digital efforts, this probably wasn't how the company wanted to kick off the proceedings.
