The digital comics service for PSP will no longer be accessible at the end of the month. It was an impressive effort to bring graphic novels to the PSP's diminutive screen, but considering the dwindling popularity of the platform, it's unsurprising that the service was discontinued. With the store closing, Sony has warned users to download their content and back it up, as the content will no longer be accessible for re-download.

The comics section of the PlayStation Store will no longer be accessible after October 30th. If you've purchased any comics off the service, we highly recommend you download the content before the date. "Where licenses permit, previously purchased or downloaded content will still be available for download until mid-January 2013," a notice from Sony details. "After this date users will no longer be able to re-download any previously purchased content."
