NFL Blitz joins PlayStation Plus Instant Game Collection
by Andrew Yoon, Oct 01, 2012 9:30am PDTAs the months change, so too must the Instant Game Collection on PlayStation Plus. Subscribers should make sure to pick up Borderlands, as that will no longer be available after tomorrow's content update. In its stead will be EA Sports' downloadable arcade game, NFL Blitz.
In addition to the new game, there will be two discounts for Plus members: both Alex Kidd in Miracle World will be available for a measly $1, while Spelunker HD will drop to $5.
Interestingly, the PlayStation.Blog is currently hosting a poll, asking fans what the "most important" Plus update was in September. Overwhelmingly, fans chose PlayStation Plus for Vita, as many are eagerly anticipating the expansion of the Instant Game Collection to Sony's latest handheld. Considering the offering will be included with existing subscriptions, it certainly is an incredible value.
On the bottom of the list is early access to Jet Set Radio, making it clear that Plus members don't necessarily care for early access to (technically old) content.
