Platinum Games 'very interested' in PC releases
by Steve Watts, Sep 25, 2012 9:30am PDTPlatinum Games is known for its console action titles like Bayonetta, but the developer says it's "very interested" in expanding its efforts to PC. While the developer isn't currently developing on PC, executive director Atsushi Inaba suggested a Kickstarter to release titles on Steam.
"Console game development budgets are really big," Inaba told Polygon, "so we need publishing partners to create those games. I was thinking - with our own money - about creating a PC title for Steam. It would give us the possibility to become a publisher, which is very attractive to me. I view the PC as an area with huge potential. It would be great if we could do a Kickstarter and gather enough money for a game to be released on Steam."
He lamented that "many publishers don't view PC as an important platform," but admires Valve for being a "very open-minded company." He also remarked on the possibility of 3DS development, calling it a "proper, straightforward evolution from a platform that has had huge success."
Platinum Games is currently working on Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance for Xbox 360 and PS3, The Wonderful 101 and Bayonetta 2 for Wii U.

That said, I would definitely get Bayonetta on PC.
