Saints Row: The Third 'Full Package' announced
by Steve Watts, Sep 24, 2012 11:30am PDTIn case you haven't noticed, it's usually pretty smart money-management to wait a year or so on new games. Take Saints Row: The Third, for example. Sure, you could have bought it new for sixty bucks at launch, but having held off on the gonzo-action game means that soon you'll be able to get the newly-announced "Full Package" instead.
THQ announced the pack today, which includes the game, the three downloadable mission packs (Genkibowl VII, Gangstas in Space, and The Trouble with Clones), along with 30 bonus DLC items from various packs. That should give you access to every vehicle, outfit, and weapon, as if the game itself didn't have enough to start with. The "Full Package" will hit on November 6, for $49.99.
It seems like a nice and economical set, but most of the time these things are called the "Game of the Year Edition" or the "Ultimate Edition" or some-such. It seems odd to break from tradition and call this one the "Full Package," since -- oh, right. I get it now.
