New Assassin's Creed 3 dev video focuses on colonial American life
by John Keefer, Sep 19, 2012 7:30am PDTThe final Assassin's Creed 3 developer video is out, with historians discussing the setting of early colonial America and developers relating how it affects Connor and gameplay. Entitled America by Land & Sea, the commentary focuses on environment and historical accuracy.
The video shows off the what life was like in America in the 1770s, and how the setting creates a perfect playground for Connor's shenanigans. Weather, the forests, animal AI, and controlling the seas all get a bit of discussion.
The game will come out for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on October 30, and release for PC on November 20.
