First Post!

Ack, a whole thread of me. D'oh.

First off, I'm not a she, I put 17/f to see how many guys would try and hit on me :) I get cheap laughs that way.

Secondly, OK, yeah, so I had my share of one-liners - everyone has. But I'm not the one who fills up First Post! with 1000+ plus posts of CONVERSATION, which has absolutely NO meaning whatsoever to anyone not involved in the conversation.

A whole 11 posts? Whee. Back when the "chatty bitch" crowd was around, the top poster had at least 80. And wow, a whole four or five posts today which have little or no meaning. Yeah, so I had 2 one-liners in one thread, one in another, and one in yet another which was posted on September 15th 1999. A whole 4 posts of meaningless crap, spread throughout 4 threads, one of which wasn't even current. That's a whole lot of chatty-bitching... right.

Look at the posting numbers - I've been registered since November 14 1999, and I've had a mere 989 posts since then. Since January, Freshview has had more than four times the number of posts I've had (though before the whole chatty-bitch thing came along, Freshview's posts were somewhat intelligent). Look at these posts: http://www.shugashack.com/show_comments.x?author=avixe&start=25 - Five consecutive posts by Avixe, all in the same thread, all in a direct conversation with another person, thus having no meaning to anyone else visiting the thread. pupismyname had had 1597 posts since late January, and generally posted at least 30 conversation posts in First Post!/werd per day. The last 23 of kbanas' posts have been in First Post!/werd, all of which have been conversation/spam type things.

So, in summary, I really don't think my whole two pointless posts in First Post! today really impact the thread, while the combined 400+ posts of conversation between Avixe, Freshview, pupismyname, and kbanas which used to happen in these threads did.

alright, what's with richard gere always getting these stupid hot guy movies? now all of a sudden he's puttin the mackdown on winona ryder in this new movie..that's just sick. i'll admit when a guy is probably attractive, and this guy ain't. there must be a lot of old people in this country :P

Does anybody know how to change drive letters for CD-ROM drives in Windows 2000?

I am constantly adding/removing/repartitioning and otherwise fux0ring with my hard drives. Since I don't want to have to reinstall all my games when I add or remove a hard drive letter, I usually kick my CDROM drives back to drive letters Q, R, and S. In win98 it was easy to figure out, but I can't seem to find a way to do it in 2000.
