Activision announces Wii U lineup
by Andrew Yoon, Sep 13, 2012 7:50am PDTApparently, Activision has a lot more support planned for Wii U than just Call of Duty: Black Ops 2. At Nintendo's press conference today, Activision confirmed that pretty much all of their upcoming games will be hitting Nintendo's new console. Skylanders Giants is coming to Wii U, although it's unclear if it will take advantage of the GamePad's built-in NFC functionality.
Wipeout 3 (the game based on the TV series, not the futuristic racer) and 007 Legends are also getting Wii U ports. Finally, Transformers Prime will be a Nintendo exclusive, appearing on both Wii U and 3DS.
(There's also Cabela and Rapela games coming, appearing briefly in a sizzle video after Activision's presentation.)
