If you're a bargain-hunter who missed out on Battlefield 3, you may be glad you took your time. The game's "Premium Edition" launches today, which includes the game and all five expansion packs, among other goodies, for the standard retail price of $59.99.

The package includes the game, a Premium membership with access to the three existing packs (Back to Karkand, Close Quarters, and Armored Kill) and two upcoming packs (Aftermath, Endgame), soldier and weapon camos, a multiplayer head-start kit to catch up with the community. EA and DICE boast that it's more than $100, seeing as each expansion is $15 by itself. If you have sixty bucks to burn, it's not a bad value. If you bought the game last week unaware, you might want to check into a return.

Anyone tried it out on the PC yet? Surprised I don't see Valcan_s posting some triple monitor screenshots of it yet.

I should really go back and play this game again, haven't played much since release since my previous PC struggled a bit playing it.

From what I can tell that is not what the article here is talking about.

This should come out on Steam now that all the DLC is out (or included).

You make an excellent point. Odds this will happen though: 0%.

Okay, I thought maybe all five expansions were out already or something. I haven't played in a while and skipped the "premium" boat first time around, but that GMG sale is tempting. I've been holding out for expansion that adds dinosaurs. :[

Yeah they are counting Back to Karkand as part of it, so Armored Kill is #3. Aftermath and End Game are coming and a vaguely remember some supposed 6th DLC but that might just have been unfounded rumors.

I think that 6th one was me drunk and confused on TS. Karkand was gay because it was free for preordering and again with premium.... So I've been given that damn pack twice and I never play it, lol.

So are they reducing the base price of Premium, then?
