Halo E3 Trailer

It's a pretty damn nasty 166meg download but if you have the means, I highly recommend it. Thanks to the guys at BattleGround: Halo. It's a bit anti-climactic now that the possibility of seeing Halo on the PC format is in doubt, but the footage will still induce a few 'holy shits'. Grab it! For the less bandwidth fortunate, you can grab the hacked up version right here. Another option is grabbing the PC Gamer August edition, as the movie is included on the cover disk.

That part at the end is totally stupid. He shoots him 3 times in the chest and he runs right up to him and stabs him in the gut. And after he stabs him, he gets shot a few more times!

Still, one well-done scripted sequence does not magically create a great GAME. Nice engine though. Remains to be seen what they will do with gameplay.
Gut feeling, Halo, even BEFORE the whole X-Box thing, was at best a 2001 game.. and late 2001 at that.
Don't tell the FCC, but my crappy ass 56k downloaded the Halo trailer at 7 to 9k... it only took 45 minutes...how the hell does that work? Thank god DSL is finally an option here in hickville.

Yeah, I thought about the possibility for online hacking...... not a possibility. Im sure the Xbox will have a hardwired 'Intel like' id code. And that will NOT be hackable.... unless that chip(set) id is stolen, copied and emulated on a PC) from from another xbox.... heh....LOL

Yeah, I was suckered. And I almost bit when Bungie said that 'Halo' would be released for the PC after the takeover and the 'confusion' about what platform it would be released on.
Bottom line. No HALO for PC.
