Wonderbook coming to PS3 in November, from $40-80
by Andrew Yoon, Sep 07, 2012 3:30pm PDTSony's interactive book experience, first demoed at E3 this year, is coming November 13th. Wonderbook is not so much a game, but an interactive reading experience that uses the PlayStation Eye camera, PlayStation Move controller, and AR-enhanced Wonderbook peripheral. J.K. Rowling's Book of Spells will be the first title in the Wonderbook series.
Book of Spells is aimed at the Harry Potter devout, promising the ability to cast popular spells from the franchise using the PlayStation Move controller. Finally! A way to scream wingardium leviosa without looking silly!
Wonderbook demands a lot of hardware. If you don't already have an Eye and Move, you'll be able to get a bundle that includes everything you need for $79.99. If you already have the Eye and Move, you'll be able to pick up Wonderbook and Book of Spells alone for $39.99.
Future additions to the Wonderbook series include Diggs: Nightcrawler, Walking with Dinosaurs, and additional titles from Disney.
