If you were lucky enough to be in Seattle over the weekend, you might have seen an extended gameplay demonstration for The Last of Us at PAX Prime. Originally shown behind closed doors at E3, this demo made its public debut at Penny Arcade Expo. Sony has now released the video online, so that all may see.

This demo features less emphasis on action-combat, and offers a greater look at the game's puzzles, stealth elements, and enemy AI. It lasts a whopping fifteen minutes in all, which should sate your fix for Naughty Dog's latest. Check it out below.

I really like the silence and non ADHD gameplay. Makes a world of difference.

The graphics are very impressive. I like how the girl doesn't get in the way, too. I wonder if she's truly dynamic, or if she's mostly scripted. What if, say, she gets punched in the face and falls off a rooftop? Game over?

I'm pretty excited for this game. While the setting isn't new, the action scripting and the voice acting are just so well done.
I've missed Naughty Dog's level of polish.

The game looks far more interesting than most others game coming out for release over the next year. Sad the publisher wants to limit sales by keeping it on one system. I sure as hell am not buying a console system to play one game.
