God of War and Ico Collections now on Vita (via Remote Play)
by Steve Watts, Sep 05, 2012 10:00am PDTWhile Vita doesn't yet have a God of War or Team Ico game of its own, you can have the next best thing. If you're itching to eviscerate some gods or experience some artistry on the handheld, good news. Sony has issued an update to both the God of War Collection and Ico & Shadow of the Colossus Collection, allowing you to play them on your handheld via Remote Play.
The PlayStation.Blog points out that you'll probably want to assign the R2 and L2 buttons to the rear touchpad. (It doesn't appear this process is automatic!) Once those steps are taken care of, though, you can play God of War, God of War 2, Ico, or Shadow of the Colossus on Vita's OLED screen. Depending on how good your connection is, you may experience some latency, however.
