by Jeff Mattas, Aug 31, 2012 11:00am PDTIn this week's game-packed episode of Weekend Confirmed, Garnett Lee, Jeff Cannata, and Jeff Mattas are joined by regular guest Christian Spicer, and special guest Phillipe Bosher of Buried in the Credits. The crew discusses whether or not Guild Wars 2 brings a breath of fresh air to the MMO space, and a host of other games get some love as well. Forza Horizon, The Walking Dead, Transformers: Fall of Cybertron, and Thirty Flights of Loving are just some of the games on tap for critical dissection. And of course, things get wrapped up with a healthy dose of Finishing Moves.

When he ranted about the Arbiter and said "Stop being a whiny bitch! Do your job, and let me kill you!" I nearly fell out of my chair. Also the comment about your "Arbiter plushie". Best, ever.
On the most recent modcast, you guys talked about large screens and input lag. I wasn't thinking about input lag, but I almost always play competitive games on my monitor here at my PC desk. Does everyone do this? I always hear everyone talking about their TVs and how they love to play in the living room, but I can't do that for multiplayer. (I've got my own little theater in the basement for single-player and movies - bought an HDMI projector, so I've got a 250-inch screen and surround sound down there for that! - I'd recommend that setup to anyone. Cheaper than a TV, and bigger.)
Also, on the subject of changed controls - you mentioned crouch is now the B button. Does that mean "hold to crouch" is gone entirely? A lot of my friends completely hate crouch toggle, and prefer to hold the stick in while crouching, so they can release faster. They're gonna be pissed. :P
And lastly, I'm with you on the ridiculous-looking armor. It sort of hurts my eyes, and none of it stands out.
