As with many Call of Duty games before it, Black Ops 2 will be getting special editions for the hardest of the hardcore fans. Launching on November 13th are the "Hardened" and "Care Package Prestige" editions of Treyarch's shooter.

The Hardened Edition ($79.99) will include the Nuketown 2025 pre-order bonus and a brand new map, Nuketown Zombies. In addition, the collection will offer limited edition challenge coins, exclusive weapon camo, exclusive player card backgrounds, and the official soundtrack--all housed in a collectible steelbook. The Xbox 360 version will include Avatar props and costumes, while the PS3 version will include two XMB themes.

The Care Package Prestige Edition ($179.99) will offer everything from the Hardened Edition and adds the MD-27 Dragonfire Drone with Remote Control, essentially a branded AR Drone. As you can see in this photo from the Call of Duty Twitter account, this Care Package is massive.

MP1st points out that there has yet to be any mention of Call of Duty Elite features for Black Ops 2, and neither special edition appears to include a free subscription to the service.

PC owners will also be able to get in on the special edition action with the Digital Deluxe Edition ($79.99). This version of the game includes the two bonus maps, the exclusive in-game items, game soundtrack, and a copy of Call of Duty: World at War.

I still can't believe with the BILLIONS of profits made from the cod franchise, they have not yet put ELITE out for pc. I mean cmon, the PC has made a considerable contribution to those cod profits and yet...nothing.

You know, I said I would never again buy more of the tripe that comes out of the CoD series, but from what I can tell it doesn't seem to suck on the consoles, just for the PC....

....and I kinda want that drone.
