Late Night Computing: August 23, 2012

Rock out with Late Night Computing on this Thursday evening, the 23rd of August in the year 2012.

I'm the type of person who always needs music to listen to besides the monotonous gunfire racketing over my speakers through all hours of the evening. Admittedly, it's a bad habit, but one I've never really tried to break. Something about having a soundtrack helps me concentrate (which explains why I enjoyed Spec Ops: The Line a ton).

My latest addiction? Circa Survive's "Violent Waves." While it hasn't officially come out yet (you can pre-order it for $5.00 on their website with an August 28 release), you can stream the album in its entirety over at RollingStone.

I wasn't quite sure what to expect out of this album, since I figured it would be difficult to improve after their last LP "Blue Sky Noise." That said, this album is fantastic. Go listen to it and tell me what you think in the comments section below.

Chatty posts of the moment.

Make sure you log-in and check your filters if you can't see the following:

  • "What was your first computer Shack? I'm proud to say that I owned this beaut before I even owned a Nintendo. My mom picked it up at a garage sale one year and I put lord knows how many hours on it as a youngster: Texas Instruments TI-99/4A Anyway, just a little trip down memory lane there :) Anyone else own one of these?"
