Included with the $80 Limited Edition version of Forza Horizon is a VIP membership that grants access to additional content. For example, these cars are exclusive to VIP members: the 2012 Audi R8 GT Spyder, 2011 Koenigsegg Agera, 2011 Lamborghini Sesto Elemento, 2012 Pagani Huayra, and the 2011 RUF Rt 12 R.

However, VIP members also get other benefits as well. A VIP icon will appear next to their Gamertags when playing online, so that everyone else can know they've paid more for the game. There will also be exclusive Rivals Mode events for VIP members.

VIP members will also receive "exclusive in-game gifts from the Forza Motorsport community team," expanded space in MyForza (for an extra two videos and/or Big Shot images), and access to extra slots in the storefront, to store things like photos, liveries, and more.

In addition to VIP access, the LE also includes SteelBook packaging, the Horizon Festival ticket "to access exclusive Xbox Live content," and the "Horizon Accelerator Token Pack."

The game will be available on October 23.

It's a spin-off. Open world with point to point races and challenges and stuff. More like Burnout Paradise based on Forza's physics than Forza 5. They've apparently tweaked the driving model a bunch to allow for easier drifting and off-roading and stuff, plus no more tuning, so definitely not a sim.

I'll probably rent it to see what it's all about, but if I wanted an arcade racer I'd probably go with Criterion's upcoming Most Wanted game instead.

I can live with no tuning, but was concerned that there would be no upgrading as well. Judging from a few google searches, it sounds as though upgrading will still be in.

Will likely rent it at first though to see if it's as feature-rich as Forza 4.
