Rockstar promised more screens for Grand Theft Auto 5 this week, and they have delivered with theree new screens showing off leisure activities.

When Rockstar released those cool-looking sports car and jet scenes for Grand Theft Auto 5 on Monday, they promised some new images later in the week. They have delivered, now showing off some spiffy shots of leisure activities in its upcoming open-world sequel. This time, you get dirt biking, tennis and a fairly impressive vista while parachuting. The information on GTA 5 has been relatively scarce, so six screenshots in the span of three days is a veritable cornucopia of information for Rockstar. I don't suppose there is an offical announcement of platforms or a release date in the offing any time soon?

Parachuting into a gorgeous canyon? I was already interested in the game ...

Yes :) now I bet the PC screens would be even better, either way I think the bar will be raised.

Then again with Sleeping Dogs, Saints Row3 and others they have no choice but to raise the bar for so are the others.

I like what I am seeing so far.

I believe it is still the same engine they used in Table Tennis, RDR GTA4 and MP3

Still RAGE engine as far as I know, but they've made some huge improvements with it, just looking at Max Payne 3.

Just Cause 2 has already done this, nothing new here.

Has a bit of a point Just Cause 2 is very well done and a old game, "he ain't lying" still it looks real nice.

JC2 is still one of my favorite games. The character controls/ animations/ dynamics were spot-on. I remember being really frustrated with GTA IV's controls. I hope they've fixed that or improved it this time around.

I've never played Red Dead - how was it to control the main character in that one?

Can't really compare GTIV vs RDR since I played GTAIV on mouse/kb, while RDR with PS/3 controller...

BUT, I have to tell ya, Red Dead Redemption *has* to played at least once. I'd say it is one of my top 5 games of all times (and I've been playing for 30+ years -- since the color computer from Radio Shack back in the early 80s).

So, just to let you know that RDR is really something to be experience! As for controls... since I'm used to keyboard/mouse, after a while I got to forget I was holding a controller.. not sure if it helps or not though ;)

Yea but Just Cause 2 is such a boring game, GTA4's story mode IMO was more interesting then either of the JC games.

jc2 was and still is an awesome game. storywise of course not - but you just have to love the island and the missions were fun. i'm still working towards the 100% complete :D

After the superb port/version of Max Payne 3, for PC, I'm comfortable to get excited about this.

It'll certainly justify those 4GB graphics cards! ;)

Did they ever confirm a PC release for this or will it remain a mystery until the console versions have been out for a over a year? Fingers crossed the pc wait isn't long, if it happens at all of course.

I'd guess the same as Max Payne 3; 2 weeks after console release. They'll want to garner huge initial sales, through retail, but eye up the long game with digital and a platform that won't strangle the living crap out of however zillion man hours of effort went into it.

            win/win! ;)
