Counter-Strike: Global Offensive launching with zombie mod
by Steve Watts, Aug 20, 2012 3:00pm PDTCounter-Strike: Global Offensive is treading a well-worn path in the shooter genre, with the announcement of a zombie mod for the game. Yes, if you haven't gotten your fill of knocking off zombies by the truckload yet, you'll be able to take down some undead when CS:GO launches tomorrow.
The Counter-Strike blog gives word that Valve has been working with the modders at Plaguefest to produce a mod for the game, and it will be ready in time for launch. It promises many more mods to come in the months ahead, too.
Obviously this news relates to the PC version, but the game is due for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 this week too. If you grab it through the PSN Play promotion and have a PlayStation Plus membership, you can get a 20% discount. Check out the latest trailer below.

I tried posting in the steam forums the other day asking if there is any way they could work with me to port it, but that forum is a terrible place to ask something like that. Maybe I should email gabe, although I feel like he probably doesn't really reply to every email.
