Damn, as much as I don't want to give UPlay my money, I may have to get Silent Hunter 5 for one single dollar. I've been itching to try it for a while now.

These are the kinds of thoughts as to WHY we have so many Steam knock off applications. Because people will deal with it for an okay deal. Don't do it! Don't feed Ubisoft's shitty treatment of the PC market.

Looks like Amazon has The Secret World for $24.99.

Indeed; that's why I listed it under Amazon.

Well some people are illiterate! What are your plans to help them? You really haven't thought this selfless plan of yours through very far, have you?

Hmm, that's tempting even with GW2 a week away. I want to check out their world and support them with a bit of money.

Honestly I'm really trying to get past this whole "Steam or nothing!" attitude I've traditionally had but the story last month about how UPlay contained a rootkit due to a "coding error" really makes me gunshy about it or anything else Ubisoft pulls.

Driver SF is worth the $1. I grabbed it over the summer steam sale and really enjoyed it.

For my money, UT 2004 was probably the best value of any game ive ever purchased in the past 15 years.

None of this emulating real-world weaponry etc. just sick, over-the-top fun.

I keep pondering a purchase of Two Worlds II, I'm a sucker for RPGs, then I check the steam forum and see there is a 3 limit activation. I cannot say for sure if that exists on Impulse/gamestop but I'm not risking a three install limit on anything.
