Sony made a case for the Vita today at its Gamescom press briefing, and one major pillar was more detail about an entry in one of the biggest franchises around: Call of Duty: Black Ops: Declassified. The company detailed more of the game's campaign and multiplayer offerings, including how the game will take advantage of the Vita's unique hardware features.

The story will take place between the two console Black Ops games. You can also play wi-fi 4v4 multiplayer, with the modes you'd expect, like Team Deathmatch and Kill Confirmed. It will use the Vita touch features and Near support as well.

Sony has also announced a Black Ops: Declassified Vita bundle, which will include a limited edition console, the game, and a branded Call of Duty pouch.
