I have a tendency to attract* the female gamers on live. I guess because I have always been really careful to treat them with a level of respect I would as if I were standing next to them. I guess I basically strike the right balance of being defensive of them, and not giving them more attention than anyone else, so I'm not singling them out, positive or negative.
My question is, have you ever played with a person, of either gender, where you seem to have established them more report than you're comfortable with? I know that obviously this happens a lot with woman, but did you make their girlfriend mad? I have never made someone's husband or boyfriend mad, but I'm always worried when I start to get facebook messages and emails.
Knowing full well that I don't live near these people, and will never meet them, I still get worried when soemone gets more attached than I think a spouse would appreciate.
*Attract attention, and gain trust.
