by Steve Watts, Aug 03, 2012 12:30pm PDTIf you're a space watcher, you probably already know that the rover "Curiosity" is scheduled to land on the surface of Mars over the weekend. And if you're so inclined, you can watch the landing streaming live from the Xbox 360 dashboard -- or at least as close to live as possible considering the signal has to arrive from Mars first.
The Major Nelson blog also details a few other events it has going to ring in the rover landing. A special section on the dash lets you take a quiz, learn more about the engineering of the mission, and play a free Kinect Mars Rover simulator (above) to score a few extra Achievements.
