Bethesda Softworks has announced the Dishonored voice cast, and the line-up is a pretty impressive mix of award winners and well-regarded thespians. It includes Oscar winner Susan Sarandon, Golden Globe winner Brad Dourif, and Emmy winner Carrie Fisher, just to name a few.

Sarandon (Dead Man Walking) will play Granny Rags, while Dourif (The Lord of the Rings) will play the inventor Piero. Fisher (Star Wars) will be over heard broadcasting government propaganda. Other cast members include John Slattery (Mad Men) as Admiral Havelock, Michael Madsen (Reservoir Dogs) as the assassin Daud, Chloe Grace Moretz (Kick-Ass) as Young Lady Emily, and Lena Headey (Game of Thrones) as Emily's caretaker. Composer Daniel Licht, who composed the music for Dexter, is handling the game's score.

"Having such talented actors voice Dishonored's compelling cast of characters adds a rich, powerful element to the game," said Arkane president Raphael Colantonio in the announcement. "We want to draw people into this virtual world and make it feel real. This celebrated cast adds wonderful depth and credibility to the overall Dishonored gameplay experience."

The game is due on October 9.
