Sound Shapes' level editor showcased
by Andrew Yoon, Aug 01, 2012 3:45pm PDTIn one week's time, Sound Shapes will be available on PS3 and Vita. It's been one of our most anticipated games, largely thanks to its innovative music/level editor. The game will include a variety of sounds to work with from a number of high-profile artists, including deadmau5, Pyramid Attack, and Beck--and you'll be able to include them in your own user-created levels.
Designer Jonathan Mak shows off the level editor by creating a platforming stage that includes deadma5 loops with Superbrothers hazards. See exactly how it works in this brand new video.
Sound Shapes will be out next Tuesday on the PlayStation Store. PlayStation Plus members can pre-order for a 20% discount. A single purchase will unlock both the PS3 and PS Vita versions of the game.
