Transformers: Fall of Cybertron demo rolls out today
by Alice O'Connor, Jul 31, 2012 6:00am PDTRobots are pretty great, aren't they? Being a robot though, well, philosophers are still yet to decide whether it'd be super cool or totally wack. While they debate that issue, why don't you enjoy a little taste of robo-life with the Transformers: Fall of Cybertron demo, which launches today for Xbox 360 on PlayStation 3.
The demo includes two single-player snippets and a slice of multiplayer. In single-player you'll get to shoot things as Bumblebee in the first mission, then roam around a "non-linear assault mission" as robohelicopter Vortex. On the multiplayer front, you get to design your own roboman and send him into battle in Team Deathmatch and Conquest online modes.
The 2GB download is available through the Xbox Live Marketplace for Gold subscribers now, and will arrive on PlayStation Network in this afternoon's PS Store update.
The finished game is slated to launch on August 21, having been shunted forward a week. It's coming to PC too, handled by Mercenary Technology.
