Baldur's Gate Enhanced to have cross-platform co-op
by Steve Watts, Jul 30, 2012 9:00am PDTWhenever a game comes around, eventually players have to make the choice of which platform to buy. Multiplayer modes add another wrinkle, since you'll want to play with your friends. Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition is making the decision that much easier by promising cross-platform play.
Beamdog president and project creative director Trent Oster tweeted the news, promising iPad, Android, PC, and Mac players could be a "happy gaming family." This comes among a myriad of other additions the developer has for the game, including a new character, paid DLC, and a higher level cap.
The developer is also hoping that the success of this game might lead to other projects; namely a Planescape revival and Baldur's Gate 3.
