This isn't an HD re-release. In fact, because it's a digital PS2 classic re-release, it's coming with zero enhancements. Don't expect trophies, or any of the visual upgrades featured in the game's recent iOS adaptation.

According to the PlayStation Blogcast (via IGN, the PSN re-release will cost $9.99. Vice City is also expected to make its way to the PlayStation Network in the future.

Nice that it's coming out on PS2 classics, but I'm disappointed they aren't doing a HD version. I can play this on my PS3 already (I still have my original PS3 which is backwards compatible) or on my PC with mods and things like that. So I won't be picking this up, if they would release an HD version with Trophies then for sure I'd be getting this. Still not bad for those who never played it and don't have a pc or backwards compatible.

I'm glad I played all these games on PC, and therefore have had the ability to play in whatever resolution I wanted from Day 1. So I get to save a few bucks during this wave of HD re-releases. ;)

sony could easily make ps2 emulation happen on ps3, remember how they said hardware limitations prevented them from having backwards compatibility well its obviously bullshit at this point. They rather sell these individually because of their insatiable greed.
