Darksiders 2 gameplay trailer gets Colossus
by John Keefer, Jul 25, 2012 4:00pm PDTIf the first Darksiders was Vigil's take on the Zelda formula, then perhaps Darksiders 2 is their take on Shadow of the Colossus? This new "all gameplay" Darksiders 2 trailer shows Death, the most feared horseman of the Apocalypse, beating down baddies to try to save the human race from extinction and redeem his brother, War. You'll get to see him riding horseback towards giant bosses--and that's generally a good thing.
Death won't be taking a holiday any time soon, as the game will launch on August 14 for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. A Wii U version will be released at a later date. If you want some new stills, here are six new screenshots.
