German consumer advocacy group targeting Diablo 3
by Steve Watts, Jul 23, 2012 4:30pm PDTDiablo 3's always-on DRM requirement didn't exactly thrill most fans, but they grumbled and accepted it nonetheless. In Germany, on the other hand, a consumer advocacy group is threatening legal action if Blizzard doesn't respond to its requests for more clear information on the game package.
The German version of PC Gamer (via CineamBlend) reports that the Federation of Consumer Organizations has given Blizzard a July 20 deadline to repackage Diablo 3, in order to inform buyers that a persistent connection is required. If Blizzard doesn't respond July 27, the organization may pursue court action.
Diablo 3 has faced a number of issues with its release worldwide. South Korea recently forced Blizzard to issue refunds to players.
