The Last of Us stole critics hearts and won Game of Show at this year's E3. Naughty Dog's survival horror game is a gritty adventure, and this newly revealed cinematic from San Diego Comic-Con only further highlights the grim reality that Joel and Ellie must face in a post-apocalyptic Philadelphia. Check out the new video, but be warned: there's some adult language.

Wow, Naughty Dog is a to-notch developer in terms of cinematic animation and character design.

I will never get that vision of him getting all greased up before the dance with Captain Turner out of my head.

Is this going to be the one that finally forces me to buy a PS3? I've been SOOOO close so many times. This just looks too good.

ditto, though I won't be convinced until I hear what people think about the game post launch. I've fallen into the hype for a game based on trailers before and regretted it so I'll wait a bit (DA2 -_-). With the probable new PS3 model coming out the prices for the current one should drop and with PSN getting really good I think a PS3 looks like a great idea!

I'd be shocked as hell if it was less than 90 on meta given Naughty Dog's history as an AAA developer.

Honestly, Uncharted is not one of the games which would have convinced me to buy one. The games are gorgeous to watch and they are very impressive on a technical standpoint... but I never felt a strong desire to play them. I watched a friend play through parts of the first two games and it looks amazing, but a far as the gameplay goes... there is nothing there. When you are walking around and climbing there is always one set path and no way to really fail (doesn't seem like a game to me) and the parts where you are shooting kind of sucks. It's a great game to watch, but doesn't interest me in terms of gameplay. The Ico / SotC remakes, Wipeout, Heavy Rain, Flower, Journey.. that type of stuff is what almost brought me over. But I have limited space in my entertainment unit and more games than I can finish on my 360 and PC. So it's hard to justify a new purchase.

As usual looks great, though I will say the new character's facial animation is severely lacking compared to Naughty Dog's other efforts. Hopefully that changes by release though.

Well if the Uncharted series is anything to go by, you won't have to worry about it. I can't think if a single phrase that was repeated to the point of being annoying.

Looks awesome but her voice still sounds way too old for the child she is supposed to be playing.
