Diablo 3 gold finally available on real-money auction house

Blizzard said that the gold commodity would be available on the real-money auction house soon. Turns out soon meant this week.

Earlier this week, Blizzard patched in a bunch of new commodities into Diablo 3's real-money auction house (RMAH). However, gold was not one of them, much to the chagrin of those not willing to pay real-money prices for high-end gear. Well, they can relax now, as the gold market has finally opened.

Blizzard has hotfixed the last commodity into the RMAH, with the current price for 1 million gold running about $3.20. When some of the top end items are selling for as much as $250, a few cheap gold purchases will make those items a bit more affordable on the normal AH, especially for those not willing to grind through Inferno for better gear.

Wow, I was under the impression gold was already sell-able through the RMAH. I guess that was a bit of misinformation on my part. Still not going use the RMAH tho.
