Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn trailer reveals live-action series
by Alice O'Connor, Jul 13, 2012 8:00am PDTIt's entirely understandable if you have no interest in the world and backstory of Halo, but look at the live-action web series Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn this way--it's another sci-fi series to watch, which is always welcome. The first proper trailer was released during Comic-Con, showing the sort of military academy shenanigans we can expect when it debuts on October 5.
Forward Unto Dawn kicks off just before the Covenant invade, when a group of cadets at the United Nations Space Command military academy are moodily sulking about this and that, fighting amongst themselves, and generally being loose cannons and mavericks. Then the Covenant arrive, and things really go to pot.
It'll be released in five episodes, leading up to the launch of Halo 4 on November 6.
