Assassin's Creed 3: Liberation trailer shows a pirate's life
by Steve Watts, Jul 12, 2012 4:00pm PDTAssassin's Creed 3: Liberation, the Vita tie-in game to AC3, looks like a definite step up from the series' last portable outing. That's probably partly because it stars a saucy pirate lass. A new trailer touts the game's E3 accolades, and shows her in action climbing roofs and stabbing fools -- you know, the usual assassin stuff.
It may not make much sense for a pretty lady in full pirate regalia to blend in seamlessly with Colonial citizens, but this is a series about extracting memories embedded in our DNA with a fancy looking dentist's chair. We've crossed that suspension of disbelief bridge a while ago.
