Metal Gear Solid 4 getting trophy patch
by Andrew Yoon, Jul 11, 2012 11:30am PDTWhen trophies were first introduced to PlayStation 3 years ago, many fans had hoped that Konami would release a patch for Metal Gear Solid 4. While hopes were long dashed, it seems fans voices have finally been heard.
Four years after the game made its debut, the Guns of the Patriots will be getting its long-overdue trophy patch. The patch will coincide with the Japanese budget reissue of the game in August.
Many thought trophies would be added when the game went "Greatest Hits" in America back in 2010. However, that didn't end up being the case. According to Andriasang, the trophy patch will be applicable to current owners of Metal Gear Solid 4. It's time to dust off your Blu-ray discs, and get ready for hours of installation fun.
