by Andrew Yoon, Jul 06, 2012 3:30pm PDTTwelve new characters are coming to Street Fighter x Tekken on July 31st according to an update from EVO. And by new, we mean "already on the disc." Capcom's controversial plan to sell content locked away on the disc will come to fruition later this month. For $20, you'll be able to get Blanka, Sakura, Guy, Cody, Elena, Dudley, Alisa, Bryan, Christie, Jack, Lars, and Lei.
If you don't want to shell out the cash for this DLC, you can alternatively buy the PS Vita version of the game. By doing so, you'll unlock the extra characters for both the PS3 and Vita versions.
The DLC drop on July 31st will also coincide with a new patch which will re-balance the characters. For a list of what to expect, check out Capcom-Unity.
