Namco Bandai has finally confirmed that the latest game in its Tales series, Tales of Xillia, will make the trip to the US. The PlayStation 3 action-RPG was released in Japan last September, but until now the company has only dropped vague hints that it might make the trek westward.

Kotaku reports that the company made the formal announcement at its fan conference today, then clarified on Twitter that its westernization plans include the United States.

Last year, Namco Bandai promised "a lot more support" for the franchise. Then in March, the company trademarked the Xillia name for the US, giving strong indication that it was due here in the states.

If they don't, I suppose a PS3 might finally be in my future.

Well the "fuckups" tend to be releasing Tales along side some major blockbuster. One was released when FF13 came out. Another when Mass Effect came out. Etc.

Final Shitstasy Crapteen and .. Shit.. E..Shit..

Tales releases should be heralded with the cries of a thousand eggbears. On the Jizzometer they should rank somewhere like:

Ace Attorney Game | TimeSplitters Game | Tales Game | Zelda Game | Elder Scrolls Game
