Snowbird Game Studios, the developer behind the Mount & Blade: With Fire and Sword expansion, announced a new game titled Caribbean! That exclamation point is part of the title, not our enthusiasm. But the game does sound interesting, taking the Mount & Blade combat engine and focusing on strategic naval combat. It's set for fall 2012. You'll be managing and customizing your fleet and crew, using ships to siege forts, harbors, and cities, and taking part in real-time boarding fights. The game also promises a random event system that will present you with decisions to make about your voyage, and NPCs based on historical events, and a few multiplayer modes spanning sea and land battles, boarding, and sieges.

Caribbean!

Couldn't they put some effort into the graphics, especially since there's so little graphically that they need to put on screen in these games?

Yeah until you do 200 man battles in MP, or 1000+ in SP.
