Diablo III only launched a month ago, and already two adventurous gamers have risen to the Hardcore challenge: Complete the game on Inferno difficulty without dying. What makes it more interesting is that they did the job before the 1.0.3 patch nerfed the difficulty of Acts II-IV.

The pair, known as Kripparian and Krippi, took a Barbarian and Wizard through the game, navigating all the elite and champion mobs with a "don't get cocky" attitude. Employing good hit and run tactics and timing interrupts for the most damaging attacks, they were able to kill the game's final boss in just under 24 minutes.

After initially casting doubt on the accomplishment, Blizzard community manager Bashiok later tweeted congratulations to the two players: "My apologies Kripp and Krippi, looks like you were 1st HC Inferno clear. (my spreadsheet deciphering isn't what it used to be) Congrats!"

If you haven't completed the game, then don't watch the video: Spoilers ahead.
