As The Secret World prepares to creep in under your door on July 3, developer Funcom has announced that its final beta weekend will be open to everyone who fancies it. All you need to do is sign up by June 22, then you can play the beta all this weekend.

Titled 'The Battle Begins,' the beta weekend will kick off at 9am PDT on June 22 then run until 11:59pm PDT on June 24. Sign up over here.

On top of offering all the content opened up over the past three beta weekends, this will introduce The Secret World's PvP. The 'Fusang Projects' war zone will be open for mayhem, where Funcom says "over two hundred players clash together in a massive struggle for server-wide power."

This game any good? I'm VERY leery of anything from FunCom after the Age of Conan debacle.

The game isn't good, BUT it's certainly interesting.
        The combat stinks, it's bad, unoriginal and uneventful. It's just press 1, 1, 2, 1, 1, 2, 1, 1, 2, 3!
But the story, the writing are really good.
The investigations missions made me think and search. Really fun! They are long and complex puzzle missions that sometime require you to use your browser and look thing up on wikipedia, etc.

All in all, it's a MMO that didn't need to be an MMO. The story is solid, the puzzles are solid. It didn't need the MMO-ish combat tacked on.
