Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance DLC could offer new playable character
by Andrew Yoon, Jun 18, 2012 4:15pm PDTHearing that DLC is being planned for Metal Gear Rising: Revengenace is unsurprising; every game has some kind of for-pay add-on, it seems. However, hearing what kind of DLC Platinum Games is planning certainly has our interest piqued.
Platinum's Yuji Korekado confirmed "plans for download content for after the release of the game" and that the expansions could "let you play as a different character or experience different types of missions."
Don't expect online play, however, as that is something Platinum is keeping off the table. "Right now we don't have any plans for online competitive play," he told GameTrailers. We certainly wouldn't mind a few Gray Fox missions, for example. And, as Joystiq points out, a skateboarding level would be totally rad.
