Report: Draw Something getting game show adaptation

CBS has reportedly won a bidding war for the rights to make a Draw Something game show pilot, to premiere sometime in 2013.

The mobile game that swept the nation (for about two weeks) may become a TV show. Draw Something has reportedly been picked up for a pilot episode by CBS. And since this is a modern game show we're talking about, it will feature celebrity cameos.

Variety (via Develop) reports that the primetime show will feature teams of celebrities in front of a studio audience, presumably picking from a list of words with varying point amounts--because you've always wondered how Khloe Kardashian would draw a blender. Home viewers will also be able to participate in some way.

The show is being produced by Sony Pictures Television, Ryan Seacrest Productions, and Embassy Row. Seacrest, Michael Davies, and Adam Sher are acting as executive producers. No host has been named, and Seacrest isn't expected to be on-camera in the show. The game show isn't expected to premiere until 2013.

Will the contestants have to spend part of their winnings to buy extra colors/brushes?

Everything else from 20 or 30 years ago is being resurrected anyway. We're getting a new Total Recall soon.

Done correctly, this show will have more dicks-per-minute than the off-beat porno Debbie Sucks a Billion Dicks

I make up a name of a porno that includes the phrase "Sucks a Billion Dicks" and you produce a youtube link.

... I'm so not clicking that.

"The show is being produced by Sony Pictures Television, Ryan Seacrest Productions ..."

PASS! Seacrest still hasn't paid for his crime of unleashing the Kardashians on us on a weekly basis.

The key is if they can make the ads in the show as intrusive as they are in the game.
