Battlefield 3 gets another double XP weekend
by Steve Watts, Jun 12, 2012 12:30pm PDTHot on the heels of the Battlefield Premium's launch, Battlefield 3 is offering a double XP weekend. Starting Saturday, June 16 at 12:01 AM PDT, and lasting until Sunday, June 17 at 11:59 PDT, you can get double the XP across all ranked matches.
This includes double XP on the new Close Quarters downloadable content, so you can rack up the XP as you try out the new maps -- if you're a Premium member, that is. Close Quarters launched last week on the PlayStation 3 alongside the Premium service, but this week Premium members on Xbox 360 and PC will get the content too. You non-Premium members will have to wait a bit longer.
