Marvel Pinball: Avengers Chronicles assembles next week

The optimal time to release Avengers-themed pinball tables may have passed, but surely enough of you remember that bit with Hulk and Loki, yeah, to still be excited about Marvel Pinball: Avengers Chronicles. The DLC pack will roll into Zen Pinball 2 and Pinball FX 2 next week, developer Zen Studios has announced.

For $10 (800 Microsoft Points), you'll get tables based around four big Marvel events: World War Hulk, Fear Itself, the Infinity Gauntlet, and the Avengers movie. The packs' coming to PlayStation 3 on June 19, then Xbox 360 on June 20.

Here's a peek at the Infinity Gauntlet table, showing off Thanos, that chap from that bit at the end of Avengers Assemble. It boasts 139 lines of dialogue, which Zen claims "represents the biggest step forward in telling a story through a pinball table." Right-o.
