That's like saying (again) Arkham City and Kingdoms of Amalur are different games because you're punching guys in one and using a sword to whack them in the other, but they're quite the same. You're just third-person button mashing, if you want to be that reductive.
Any perspective is limited in what it can do, just first person games are more limited. Again, if that's your problem, just ignore them.
I'm still confused as to whether your problem is that you don't like first person games, or that you're just too loudly complaining that there are too many of them. If it's the latter, then we agree.
