by Steve Watts, Jun 05, 2012 7:35pm PDTThough Nintendo hasn't announced solid plans, the company does plan to let you transfer your purchases and save data from the Wii to the Wii U. At a developer roundtable this evening, Nintendo Land producer Katsuya Eguchi said the company is "readying a system" that will allow the transfers.
This fits with Nintendo's steps toward a digital approach, having allowed a similar transfer from the DSi to 3DS. The company didn't announce whether the functionality would be available at launch.
